The Swimming Pool Retail Association Australia (SPRAA) is a new, national, dynamic industry body that has been formed to give a powerful voice to the swimming pool and spa aftermarket retailers and technicians. It has been created by leading industry professionals who understand and support the market because that’s how they earn their livelihood too:

SPRAA’s mission is to give you greater say in the market on the issues that matter most to you and which could affect your business. This includes issues such as pool fencing and licensing legislation, training and career pathway development, quality assurance for customers, best practice models in the industry and gaining national recognition as a professional organisation representing the swimming pool and spa aftermarket.

SPRAA is a member of the Construction and Property Services Industry Skills Council (CPSISC) as part of our commitment to provide true representation for our industry across Australia. SPRAA also sits on the Property Services Advisory Committee representing our members on issues relevant at a national level.

CPSISC is developing national qualifications for swimming pool and spa technicians in the period 2011- 2012. The members of SPRAA instigated this qualification and have provided their input at the national workshops around Australia. We support their drive to develop the very best qualification for retailers and technicians in the swimming pool and spa aftermarket.
